The garden has sprung into life, sadly with weed growth outpacing plants and flowers. The heavy clay soil means that I have been really busy replanting and refreshing borders and tackling weeds. I've planted more of the poppies that I love to plant along with lupins, delphinium, penstemon and some very pretty dianthus. All wonderful subjects for paintings this summer.
