It's really exciting to be creating a new website for my artwork. It's been a lot of work and luckily my husband Alan has been incredibly supportive about me spending time frowning at the keyboard getting the website up and running! Although I worked in IT for many years and still do some consultancy work this has been a steep learning curve for me as I've never built a website before. #buildinganewwebsite #buildinganartwebsite
What next
What I plan to work on next is to start this blog to document the whole building process. This is a good start to the day as at least I can record one task as started! Next I want to edit the pictures in the gallery to add descriptions and titles to help anyone who looks at them to understand more about them and what inspired me to create them. Great in theory but it is undoubtedly going to be tricky and I'm anticipating some mistakes along the way.
Unfortunately, in my website journey, some mundane household tasks have been neglected so today's agenda includes laundry and grocery shopping. On the plus side, Alan and I will be having lunch with friends at Alan's golf club. In case you're wondering it is definitely Alan, and not me, who is the golfer in our household.
Hmmm, not much time left for the website or painting today.......
